About Plaudernetz App
Good conversation, good feeling. The Plaudernetz is there for everyone looking for a good conversation. Daily from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. throughout Austria.

What is the Plaudernetz?
People who need to talk can call a telephone hotline. After an announcement of the participation conditions, they will be connected anonymously with volunteer chat partners.
This app allows you, as a registered chat partner, to set your availability for chatting. For chat partners, the Plaudernetz offers a new opportunity for social engagement – independent of location and with flexible timing.
The Plaudernetz is an initiative of Caritas in cooperation with T Magenta.
Who is the app intended for?
The app was developed for registered chat partners. If you are not yet registered, you can easily sign up at https://plaudernetz.at/plauderpartnerin-werden.
Callers dial 05 1776 100 as before and will be connected to a chat partner. An app for callers is not available.
What are the app's features?
- Specify availability: As a chat partner, you can use the app to specify the times you would like to be available for calls. You can specify your available chat times by weekday and hour and change this information at any time. You will only receive calls within your specified times. If you do have time to chat now, you can also set the setting to "ON" and answer calls immediately.
- Activate silent mode: The app allows you to set a silent mode until a specific date or indefinitely, in case you are on vacation or want to take a break.
- View your call history: The app also shows you how many calls you've answered and how many hours you've spent on the Plaudernetz.
- Provide feedback on calls: You can give us feedback directly on every call. We appreciate all your feedback—whether it's about a particularly pleasant conversation or, of course, when something didn't go as planned.
- View your profile: You can view your registered phone number and email address in the app. You can also log out of the app.
