ALGA - Gases Arteriales

ALGA (the Joy of Reading Arterial Gases) is an application created to facilitate the learning and application of the interpretation of arterial blood gases (and soon also venous blood gases). It evaluates the processes of oxygenation, ventilation, acid-base status and, in future updates, also perfusion, generating diagnoses of each of these from the data entered by the user.

ALGA emerged as an initiative of the National University of Colombia and the National University Hospital of Colombia to improve the educational processes of medical students, medical interns and residents of specialties.
