With the Austrian disposable deposit system's return app, employees at a return point can easily record the seal numbers of the filled disposable deposit bags using a smartphone by scanning or manually entering them. In addition, the current status information of all seal numbers recorded so far can be displayed. The system affiliation of empty bottles and cans can also be checked via product scan. After the product scan, the user receives feedback on the display as to whether the container is a disposable deposit container or not.
