About KGM LINK App
[Basic Information]
(1) App Login
To use the app, you need to sign up at the bottom of the app's home screen or on the KGM LINK homepage (https://kgmlink.kg-mobility.com).
When using for the first time after logging in, go to the menu on the top right of the app > Sign-up vehicle information > Find service signed-up vehicle > Mobile phone authentication > Register vehicle to display KGM LINK signed-up/opened vehicles.
(2) Other Login
The following login procedures are required to use the in-vehicle voice recognition function, home IoT service, and music service (only for premium service subscribers).

(3) Select vehicle for service use
If you own more than one KGM LINK vehicle under the same name, you can change the vehicle by pressing the vehicle number displayed on the home screen after logging in.

1. Vehicle remote control
1) Remote start/air conditioning service and remote air conditioning stop
- You can use your mobile phone to start the engine in advance and warm it up before getting in the vehicle, and you can turn off the engine via your mobile phone during remote start.
- You can operate the air conditioner or heater along with remote start, and create a comfortable driving environment before getting in by removing fog from the windshield and controlling the rear window heater.
※ Caution (including references and warnings) :
: Please use with caution as the location and idling time for idling are regulated differently by local government ordinances in each region.
: The remote start and air conditioning control service will not start in the following cases.
- Normal start status (ignition switch 'ACC' and 'ON', engine idling and driving)
- When the gear position is not P (parking)
- When the vehicle doors are not locked
- When the vehicle doors, hood, or tailgate are open
- When a problem is detected with the vehicle power and steering system
: In the following situations, remote start (including air conditioning) will automatically end for the user's safety.
- If the smart key is not authenticated after the door is opened (If the smart key is authenticated normally, it switches to normal engine start)
- Abnormal opening of the vehicle door, hood, or tailgate is detected
- If vehicle movement is detected during
remote start - If movement indicating the driver is detected, such as stepping on the brake pedal, pressing the ignition switch, changing the gear position (out of gear position P), etc., inside the vehicle during remote start
2) Remote horn/emergency light control
If you do not remember the exact location of your car in a parking lot, you can use your mobile phone to check the location by using the horn and flashing the hazard lights. This function operates for 30 seconds and can be stopped within 30 seconds through the automatic app.

: Be sure to use the service while parked.
: The service does not operate in normal engine start mode (smart key start and remote start switched to normal engine start) or while driving.
3) Remote Door Opening/Lock
- If you do not have the smart key, are not sure whether the car door is open/locked, or need to open the car door for someone else remotely, you can unlock or lock the car door using your mobile phone.

: Please use the service only when the car is parked in a safe place with no threat of theft.
: The remote door open/lock service does not work in the following cases:
- Normal ignition state (smart key ignition and remote ignition changed to normal ignition) and while driving
- Theft alarm is activated
: The remote door lock service does not work if the door is not completely closed or the hood or tailgate is open.
: If the smart door auto-lock (Auto Close) is set and the remote door is successfully opened (unlocked), it will automatically return to the locked state within a certain period of time.
: If the safety unlock is set and a remote door open (unlock) command is given, only the driver's door is unlocked.
2. Check vehicle status
1) Find parking location
If you do not remember the exact location of your car in the parking lot, you can check the location of your car on the map on your mobile phone.

: For personal information protection, this can only be used when the distance between the mobile phone and the vehicle is less than 1km.
: The location of the vehicle and the location of your mobile phone are displayed together on the app map. Be sure to keep the GPS (location information) function of your mobile phone turned on.
: The accuracy of the parking location of the vehicle may vary depending on the GPS information. In areas with GPS reception shadows such as indoor (underground) parking lots or high-rise buildings where it is difficult to receive GPS satellite signals, the displayed parking location may differ from the actual location.
: Depending on the vehicle environment and wireless communication environment, it may take more than 30 seconds to confirm the parking location.
2) Check the status of my car
You can check the open/closed/locked status of the vehicle doors, the open/closed status of the sunroof/tailgate/hood, the on/off status of the headlights, and the on/off status of the engine using the app.

: The items that can be checked for status may differ depending on the vehicle model and options or may be changed without separate notice. If each status check item is not confirmed depending on the vehicle environment, it is displayed as 'Not confirmed'.
3) Vehicle Diagnostic Information
When the dashboard warning light turns on/flickers or the driver detects a problem with the vehicle, if you use the vehicle diagnostic service, we will analyze the vehicle's fault code information and guide you to receive vehicle maintenance at the appropriate time.

: If you do not use the vehicle diagnostic service, the monthly vehicle report diagnostic information may differ from the actual vehicle condition.:
If diagnostic equipment is connected to the vehicle, there may be restrictions on the vehicle diagnostic service, so please remove the diagnostic equipment and start again.
3. Send destination
1) Recent repeat schedule of destination
You can send destination information searched on your mobile phone to the vehicle navigation anytime, anywhere. You can check recent destination information and repeatedly send destination information through settings. For navigation-related matters such as route settings, please refer to the AVN user manual.
4. Vehicle report
We will provide a report on the vehicle's operation information, vehicle abnormalities, and consumable replacement cycle once a month. Operation information for the past month (previous month), vehicle abnormalities, consumable replacement cycle, etc. are provided on the 1st of every month.
5. Driving Information
You can check the driving distance, time, and fuel efficiency of all vehicles driven in the past (1 month, 3 months, 6 months, 1 year).

You can check the replacement history of each consumable of the vehicle through the consumable management app. Separately from the app, AVN checks the replacement cycle and provides a notification message according to the replacement time.
7. My Account Information
You can check your personal information and change your password.

You can check my vehicle subscribed to the KGM LINK service. (Depending on whether KGM LINK is used, more than one vehicle may be displayed.)
