Pay easily and contactlessly with your smartphone

Install the Volksbank Pay app and activate your digital debit card in just a few steps. You can pay easily and contactlessly with your smartphone while on the go and leave your debit card at home. Hold your smartphone near an NFC-enabled payment terminal and pay amounts up to €50 without entering a PIN. For higher amounts, please enter your PIN at the POS payment terminal - just like with your plastic card.


Transfer money to phone contacts easily and anywhere with just a few clicks

With the ZOIN function, you can send money directly and in real time to contacts from your smartphone - these can also be customers of other Austrian banks. You do not need the recipient's IBAN or BIC, just their mobile phone number.
The maximum daily limit for transfers/payments is €400, the weekly limit is €1,000. Keep


all your customer cards with you at all times and manage them clearly

The Volksbank Pay app allows you to clearly save and manage your existing customer cards. These can then be scanned in the app at the checkout – giving you the same benefits, such as collecting discounts or points, as when using your physical customer card.


Maximum security through SCA-compliant login

The SCA-compliant login makes the Volksbank Pay app particularly secure. You can access the Volksbank Pay app using your username and password, as well as by authorizing a verification code in your Volksbank ID app. Once you activate fingerprinting, you can also conveniently access the Volksbank Pay app using fingerprinting. For your own safety, we recommend that you only use the fingerprint function on your smartphone yourself – i.e., do not give anyone else access to your smartphone via fingerprinting.
