Təfsir - İbn Kəsir (1-21)

This translation we have is an abridged version of Ibn Kathir's book "Interpretation of the Glorious Quran" by Ahmed Shakir. The work consists of the reasons for the revelation of the verses of the Quran, their explanation through other verses, interpretation with hadiths, and other useful information. For this reason, the book is intended for a wide audience.

Imaduddin Ibn Kathir ad-Damasqi was one of the most prominent scholars of the 14th century and wrote many useful works. The most famous of them is the book "Interpretation of the Glorious Quran". This book is one of the best and most accurate interpretations among the interpretation books. Thus, when interpreting the verses, the author first interpreted the Quran with the Quran as much as he could. Then he explained the Quran with authentic hadiths, and then he recorded the words of his predecessors (the companions and their followers) about the verse. Ibn Kathir's book of interpretation not only explains the verses but also teaches the reader the science of hadith. In this respect, the book is very important.
